System nomenclature proposed by HIPPOCOM. In the 70s of the XX century, IUPAC (International Union Pure and Applied Chemistry) introduced a system nomenclature for the name of polymers. This system is based on a structure that makes up a repeating part of the polymer chain. A repeating link structure (PBU) is the formation of a polymer chain due to the repeated influx of the smallest atomic groups. In most cases, the PBU coincides with the monomer link. For example, polyethylene in this nomenclature is called polymethylene, and the repeating group is called CH2. The name of the polymer begins with the word "poly", and PBU is written in parentheses. To assign a name to a polymer, you must: 1. Determine the PPO. 2. send the PO. 3. assign a name to the PO. The PBU can consist of simple or links. Atoms or joints in the order of the PBU are reduced from left to right by an amount.
