Energy policy of the European Union
In the article author analyzes the development and principles of the European Union energy policy. It is noted
that in addition to the norm of the Lisbon Treaty to mandatory collective responsibility, it makes sense to conclude
a pact of collective energy security. Besides having great importance for the EU - environmental policy and the
development of renewable energy may be the bases of weakening European economy because they are unnecessarily
costly. The main directions of development of EU energy policy are identified.
