The article is devoted to the research of phraseological terminology in the English economic discourse. The no-
tion and specificity of phraseological units in English language were researched and systematized. The fundamental
scientific material on the research theme was studied. The role of phraseological terms in the Economic discourse
was determined. The semantic peculiarities of phraseological units in the texts of economic direction were analyzed.
