Assessment of personality and activities of osman in the “Kazak exodus” by G. Lias
This article is subjected to critical analysis of one of the most famous and important works on the history of the
Kazakhs abroad “Kazakh exodus” by Godfrey Lias. We consider the personality of the Kazakh leaders during the
Tree District’s Revolution and education of the Second East Turkestan Republic. Particular attention is paid to Ospan
Batyr and his relationship with the ETR. Assessed the role and degree of foreign influence on the course of events
being studied.
