Abbreviations  in  English  are  something  without  which  it  is  rather  difficult  to 

imagine  a  modern  foreign  language.  Often,  abbreviations  are  used  on  the  Internet  in 

order  to  convey  your  own  thoughts  as  quickly  as  possible.  Indeed,  you  don't  have  to 

write "as soon as possible" if you can write "asap". 

Currently, network communication has developed its own dialect, which is based 

on  the  spoken  language,  the  language  of  consonances  and  abbreviations.  This  new 

language  of  communication  has  emerged  as  a  result  of  the  rapid  development  of  the 

Internet  and  communications.  This  language  is  simple,  because  the  names  of  some 

numbers and letters are consonant with words, but are written faster. It is not difficult to 

understand  where  all  these  reductions  came  from  and  that  the  reason  for  their 

appearance, first of all, is the need to save your own and other people's time wherever 

possible, especially in the "world wide web", which takes a lot of time from humanity. 

The language of abbreviations and abbreviations is characterized by its own agreement, 

therefore,  English  messages  in  chats  often  baffle  Kazakh-speaking  users.  Therefore, 

learning the principles of writing emails in chats and forums has become very important 

nowadays.  The  relevance  of  this  topic  lies  in  the  widespread  use  of  abbreviations  in 

modern  English,  which  is  a  constantly  evolving  phenomenon  that  does  not  stand  still. 

The practical value of research work lies in the possibility of using its materials during 

the development of elective courses, as well as in practical and group classes in English.
