The role of the teacher and the students in a profile school



The role of the teacher in the profile school changes greatly:
1. The teacher uses modern pedagogical and psychological methods of diagnosing students abilities and talents and on the basis of this conducts different competitions and competitive games.
2. The teacher knows modern theories of students teaching and upbringing, knows the basics of age psychology.
3. The teacher is objective in evaluating students achievements.
4. The teacher promotes students self-development.
5. The teacher encourages students to achieve their aims, develops students will, inquisitiveness, creativity.
6. The teacher constantly controls the process of learning, makes corrections if necessary.
7. The teacher implements pedagogical technologies developing competitiveness among students.
8. The teacher creates the atmosphere of independence and creativity at the lessons.
9. The teacher does not impose anything by force. He motivates students to take part in discussions and creative tasks.
10. The teacher is able to help students to choose profile disciplines and elective courses.
11. The teacher constantly develops technologies of self-education.


The student in a profile school is supposed to:
1. Be always interested in unfamiliar for him object of study
2. Constantly develop his intellectual abilities.
3. Be very responsible in choosing his supplementary and elective courses.
4. Choose his aims in life and try to attain them.
5. Consciously choose his future profession.
6. Prepare himself for independent study at the University.
7. Be independent in choosing his friends.
8. Respect teachers and peers.
9. Respect his parents and help them.
10.Go in for sports
11. Have aesthetic taste.
