Northern Kazakhstan in the fate of German special settlers
The article deals with the problem of German special settlers living in the territory of Northern Kazakhstan
in 1950-1970-ies. In these areas, they created collective and introduced self-financing. State farms were well land-
scaped, planted streets, work from home culture, clubs, people’s universities, the German theaters and libraries. In the
first years of the virgin lands in these state farms were often held competitions in amateur performances.
