Purpose of the study: to identify the role of public relations in the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan and abroad, to show that small and medium-sized businesses play an important socio-economic role and is an important market need in maintaining social and political stability.

This goal served as the basis for solving the following specific tasks:

* Give an idea of ​​the concept of small and medium-sized businesses in the context of globalization;

* Define the concept of PR and bring its differences in professionalism;

* Determine the role of PR in SMEs in the trend of overcoming the global crisis
