HUMANITARIAN COOPERATION IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SCO: PROBLEMS AND

In  this  article,  the  author  considers  current  issues  of  humanitarian  cooperation  in  the  spheres  of  education, 

culture,  scientific  and  technical  cooperation,  healthcare,  information  security,  emergency  response,  ecology, 

tourism,  which  is  the  third  dimension  of  cooperation,  significantly  contributes  to  overcoming  tensions  and 

conflicts and facilitating convergence in interstate relations. Successful implementation of this direction activity of 

the  Shanghai  Cooperation  Organization  will  contribute  to  strengthening  the  positive  international  image  of  the 

organization and in the future can become a self-sufficient vector of the joint policy of the SCO countries.
