Abstract. The great Victory is our common spiritual and moral heritage, an inexhaustible
source of national pride, patriotism and belief that we can do anything. The purpose of the event
is to give students the opportunity to understand the importance of certain historical events in the
life of our country and its people. The material is selected in accordance with the age category.
Musical and literary composition is one of the activities carried out in line with the Patriotic
education of students in high school, and is designed for 7-x – 8-х classes. The script presents
poems and stories of military subjects, various genres of military songs, historical information
about the great Patriotic war, the stories of high school students about their great – grandfathers-
participants of the war. The combination of sound and literary accompaniment helps children to
feel the mood of those events. The form of carrying out is chosen not casually as it is the
recognized method of training and education possessing educational.
