ХАТТАМА ТОЛТЫРУ:
Task №1. Fill the scheme «hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal gland system».
Using the given diagram, briefly explain the role of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system on neurohumoral regulation of human body functions.

HYPOTHALAMUS

Release factors from the neurosecretional cells of the hypothalamus enter the anterior pituitary gland, and the adenohypophysis provides hormone release. The hypothalamus is a small area in the diencephalon that contains many groups of cells (more than 30 nuclei) that regulate the neuroendocrine activity of the brain and the body's homeostasis. The hypothalamus is connected by nerve pathways to all parts of the central nervous system, including the cerebral cortex, hippocampus, amygdala, cerebellum, brainstem, and spinal cord. The hypothalamus, together with the pituitary gland, forms the hypothalamic-pituitary system, in which the hypothalamus controls the release of pituitary hormones and is the Central link between the nervous and endocrine systems.

PITUITARY

Adrenocorticotropin is produced in the anterior pituitary gland. It grows cells in the adrenal cortex and is involved in the production of corticosteroid hormones. The pituitary gland is a brain appendage in the form of a circular shape located in a bone pocket on the lower surface of the brain, called the Turkish saddle, which produces hormones that affect growth, metabolism. substances and reproductive function. It is the central organ of the endocrine system; closely related to and interacting with the hypothalamus.
