PRE-REVOLUTIONARY EDUCATION IN KAZAKHSTAN
Annotation
Studying the historical experience of Kazakhstan's establishment and development of pre-revolutionary
education in Kazakhstan makes it possible to trace the entire spectrum of changes in this area.
The fundamental method is the principle of historicism, which presupposes the consideration and analysis of
pre-revolutionary education not as an abstract structure, but as a phenomenon directly integrated into a common
historical process developing under certain political and socio-economic conditions.
Since the second half of the 19th century, various types of schools, boarding schools, gymnasiums have been
opened on the territory of Kazakhstan, classes were conducted in both Kazakh and Russian languages. Note that
they prepared scribes and translators for local and executive authorities. At the same time, Kazakhs - outstanding
representatives of the Kazakh intelligents Ch. Valikhanov, I. Altynsarin, A. Bukeykhanov, etc., received their first
education in these educational institutions. The great merit of I. Altynsarin in the education of the Kazakh people:
he devoted his entire life to serving a noble mission education of Kazakhs.
