THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR AND AQMOLINSK WOMEN AT THE FRONTS AND OUTSIDE
Annotation
In this article the archival documents of the State archive of Astana are analyzed. They state that from the first
days of the Great Patriotic War women on the equal basis with men went to the front to protect their homeland.
Authors emphasize the labor heroism that was shown by female workers on the home front, too. Their military
and labor deeds were awarded high honors. It can be concluded that Aqmola female soldiers and women on the
home front have made heroic military and labor feats in the years of war.
