professor Knyaz Ibragimovich Mirzoev, well-known in Kazakhstan and abroad. The book provides an
opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the people, who for many years lives and works for the benefit of
development and self-determination.
The author of the article draws attention to the fact that the publication of a two-volume monograph with the
current title "Kurds: history and modernity" is an important authentic source revealing the complex problems of
national, linguistic and state identity.
