Introduction
In 1911, Anderson and Goldberger found out that the causative agent of the disease is a virus. The clinical appearance of beetroot was studied by S. D. Nosov, V. F. Popov, I. Zhaynbaev.
The family of measles viruses also includes canine and rinderpest viruses. Measles virus is morphologically similar to other paramyxoviruses.
What kind of disease is measles?
Infectious disease. It occurs mostly in children. Sometimes it can end in tragedy. It is quite possible that a person who has not been vaccinated against the disease can get it.
Main features:
Weakness;
Fever;
Headache;
Insomnia;
Loss of appetite
Nasal congestion and dry cough may occur. In 3-8 days, a rash will appear on the body.
THE DISEASE CONSISTS OF THREE STAGES:
Catarrhal
Rash stage
The condition will improve within 3-4 days from the appearance of the rash.
Red rash on the skin is a characteristic sign of this period.
The first symptoms of measles appear in the catarrhal stage of the disease.
Pigmentation stage
How can the disease be transmitted?
The virus is spread to the environment through the saliva of a sick person when talking, coughing, and sneezing through air droplets. The source of infection is a person who has been ill for the fourth day. It is not contagious from the fifth day.
SYMPTOMS
MEASLES
runny nose
body temperature
red rash
conjunctivitis
dry cough
sore throat
Ways of treatment
Patients are treated at home, in order not to infect others, they lie in bed during the contagious period. The eyes should be protected from sunlight, the throat should be shaken, the eyes should be cleaned, and 2% sodium sulfate should be instilled into the eyes 3-4 times. The patient is given plenty of fertile fluids. Due to the complaint, a doctor's supervision is required until it is prescribed.
Preventive measures
PASSIVE IMMUNIZATION AGAINST MEASLES SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT. PASSIVE IMMUNIZATION IS INDICATED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OF AGE, PREGNANT WOMEN, PEOPLE WITH WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEMS. DURING THE ILLNESS, THE CHILD SHOULD NOT BE SENT TO THE CHILDREN'S INSTITUTION FOR 17 DAYS, AND THOSE WHO USED PROPHYLACTIC IMMUNOGLOBULIN - 21 DAYS. A RELIABLE METHOD OF MEASLES INSURANCE IS IMMUNIZATION WITH A LIVE VACCINE. THIS VACCINATION MAINTAINS THE PROTECTIVE EFFECT FOR 15 YEARS. LIVE VACCINE IS NOT PRESCRIBED FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, TUBERCULOSIS, AND HIV INFECTED PEOPLE.
EPIDEMIOLOGY
The disease is transmitted only from a sick person. From the 2nd day of the latent period of the disease, rashes on the body are transmitted through the air to people who have been in contact with each other for 4 days. If a person has never had measles in his life, or if he has not been vaccinated, he will be infected. the source of infectious disease is only a sick person.

2
Measles is severe in unvaccinated people, and complications may occur if they are not treated in time. A person who has previously received vaccinations and is sick due to weakened immunity will have a mild illness.
Important
You should not apply diamond blue (zelenka), potassium permanganate (red medicine) solution to the rash of a child with measles.
information!
3
If patients do not have complications, there is no need to carry out special treatment. And if the patient is not properly treated and the temperature rises again, complications such as otitis, pneumonia, encephalitis, and meningitis may develop.
CONCLUSIONS
ONLY PATIENTS WITH SEVERE DISEASE AND SYMPTOMS OF COMPLICATIONS ARE ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL. DURING THE OUTBREAK OF MEASLES AND OTHER AIRBORNE INFECTIOUS DISEASES, IT IS BEST NOT TO TAKE SMALL CHILDREN AND INFANTS TO CROWDED PLACES. THIS IS ALSO CONSIDERED ONE OF THE MEASURES TO PREVENT THE DISEASE.
Also, if symptoms of the disease are observed, it is recommended to call a doctor and take the medicine after the doctor's prescription. It is better not to forget that self-treatment leads to complications of the disease.
