participate in grant funding projects for scientific projects of fundamental and applied scientific research in priority areas of science development. There have been implemented projects for the prevention of terrorism and religious extremism in the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of the teaching staff of the department. They develop and implement social programs for the population, conduct social and psychological research on the order of state bodies and international funds (Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, UN, ILO, UNICEF). They take advanced training courses at leading universities in the world and Kazakhstan. Today, the teaching staff of the department trains psychologists at three levels. In accordance with the educational program 6В03103 - Psychology, bachelor psychologists are being studied to provide psychological assistance in all spheres of human life and activities. Along with bachelors, the teaching staff of the department prepares masters in the educational program 7M03103-Psychology, qualified for independent research and practical activities of a psychologist with the skills to solve professional problems in different spheres of life. In 2020, for the first time, six doctoral psychologists entered the educational program 8D03103 - Psychology to train personnel in the field of scientific and managerial psychology. From the moment of obtaining an independent status, there has been actively carried out work to expand cooperation with business partners. There have been signed memorandums with the «Union of Kazakhstani Psychologists», «Professional Psychological League», NGO «Association of Kazakhstan Aielderi», LLP «Center for psychological support for university development» Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, LLP «Center of Psychology «Kasiet «, LLP «Psychological Center Keleshek «, LLP» Amanat Rahab Nur-Sultan», etc. During the whole period of the department’s existence hundreds of highly qualified psychologists have been released into the labor market of Kazakhstan, providing quality psychological services in all spheres of activity, a professional community of undergraduate and graduate psychology graduates has been formed. The work of the psychology department is based on the general plan of organization and management of the department, as well as on the list of plans for graduate employment activities and reflects them in the work plan of the department. the department conducts compulsory curatorial hours on employment issues: in the first years of training - to familiarize students with the possibilities of further employment in their chosen major. There is formed a database for graduates of the department of psychology. It contains information about their name, address of the organization, as well as position. Also, there is a list of email addresses of graduates to communicate with graduates. Feedback from graduates is provided through negotiations, correspondence, meetings, and e-mail, as well as conducting questionnaires of graduates. There is carried out an analysis of graduates’ satisfaction with their employment based on graduates’ survey data of previous years. The communication with graduates is organized by Alumni Association of the university. Graduates assist in choosing a path and achieving career growth with all kinds of internships and participation in city-wide events where potential employers are represented. Noteworthy among them are the Institute of Psychology, «Altair» Psychological Center LLP, Zhabaev Gymnasium, Gymnasium No.1. 4, Nur-Sultan, School of Habilitation Practices «Rodniki» PE, Eurasian Humanitarian Institute «Nur-Sultan», ETS - 166/1 Nur-Sultan, PF «Law», OA Center «SAD», Scientific and Practical Center of Social and Psychological Service, PE «Center of ART-therapy Ocean-ART», JSC «NC «Kazakhstan-Temirzholy».
