The research of the development of professional-oriented language competence through the
characteristic of Operating logical thinking skills established that the initial level in both groups
did not statistically differ and corresponded to A1 Breakthrough: 47.4% in SG, and 53.5% in EG;
respondents with A2 Threshold: 52.6% in SG, and 46.5% in EG, i.e. the initial level in the studied
groups equaled. Therefore, characteristic of POFLC in both groups corresponded to very low A1
Breakthrough and low A2 Waystage. According to the results in semester I, A1 Breakthrough
comprised 4.2% in SG, and 3% in EG. The indicators of A2 Waystage level were established as
69.5% in SG, and 54.5% in EG; B1 Threshold: 26.3% in SG, and 42.6% in EG.
