(Virtual physiological experiment выполняется на английском языке для казахских групп).
Pepsin is a proteolytic enzyme that is synthesized in an inactive form by the fundal cells of the stomach and activated by the action of hydrochloric acid.
Purpose: Demonstrate the effect of рН on the effectiveness of pepsin.
Equipment: personal computer, program on virtual physiology of breathing «LuPraFi-Sim».
Progress of work: using the program, explore the role of pepsin in protein digestion.
The results: draw a diagram of the experiment and record the degree of assimilation of egg white.

Pepsin+acid

When pepsin and acid are added, the protein dissolves and decomposes.

Pepsin+water

With the addition of water and pepsin, the protein decomposed in 3 hours and did not react at all.

Acid+water
