Easter is a religious holiday celebrated in Great Britain. It was once common for people to wear
new clothes to church on Easter Sunday. Women wore new hats called Easter bonnets. Today
people sometimes make elaborately decorated Easter bonnets for fun. Easter is a time when
parades are very common. Many schools and clubs have Easter Bonnet parades. You can have
prizes for the biggest, the smallest, the most colourful and creative hats.
