Jessica did some shopping yesterday. 3. Agatha Christie wrote over a hundred books. 4. Joanna saw the new James Bond film last weekend. 5. He spent much time playing video games last week. 6. I understood the question. 7. She got up late yesterday. 8. They spoke German at home. 9. She felt sorry for them. 10. The train left on time. 11. Mrs. Johnson forgot to lock the door. 12. I swam in the ocean last summer. 13. It took about six hours to get there. 14. He won the cup in 1993. 15. Margaret Thatcher became Prime Minister in 1979. 4. In pairs, ask and answer questions using the prompts below as in the example. Example: Mary went somewhere yesterday .- Did she go to the theatre? 1. Mary / go / somewhere yesterday (theatre). 2.
