Bandaging of the umbilical cord.
There are 2 stages.

2nd stage. After re-processing the hands, the remainder of the umbilical cord is wiped with a sterile napkin, between the Kocher clamps at a distance of 1 m from the umbilical cord, a Rogovin bracket is applied or the umbilical cord is tied with a sterile thread. The remains of the umbilical cord are cut off, the cut is treated with potassium permanganate. Healing is carried out by an open method. with Rh incompatibility, the umbilical cord is clamped immediately after birth and tied up 10 cm above the umbilical ring in case of an exchange transfusion.
