Only the ribbed drum and parts of the ribbed roof of the dome survived. The dome was restored in 1979. The monument is a small square-shaped structure with a length of 4.5 m on the inside. At that time, the roof was covered with a folded, glazed roof, which was attached to a multi-star star drum.

The beauty of the architectural appearance of the building is realized in a simple way. It contains a part of the text written in terracotta engraving "naskh": On the facade there is a part with the inscription: "This is the tomb of Babaja Khatun ... its builder." The name of the master is not saved. Part of the epitaph may have been lost during the construction. The entrance is on the east side.

Mahmud, a Kashgar scholar who lived in the 11th century, wrote in his Turkish dictionary that the name "Katyn" was associated with the daughters of Alyp Er Tona. It is also known that the dome of Babaji Khatun near the monument to Aisha Bibi was built for an aristocratic woman from the Karakhanid dynasty. As for the name Babaja, the word "customs" is associated with the first girl, even in modern Turkish. "Aja" means the ancient Turkish ruler.

XI ғасырда өмір сүрген қашқарлық ғұлама Махмуд бабамыз өзінің түрік сөздігінде «қатын» деген атау Алып Ер Тоңаның қыздарына байланысты айтылғандығын жазады. Айша бибі ескерткіші қасындағы Бабажы хатун күмбезі де Қарахан әулетінен шыққан ақсүйек әйелге тұрғызылғандығын осыдан да білуге болады. Ал Бабаджа атауына келсек, «бажы» деген сөз тіпті қазіргі түрік тілінде де тұңғыш қызға байланысты айтылады. «Ажа» — көне түрікше билеуші деген сөз.
