Singapore has lots of trees, flowers and other greenery. Nearly 1/10 part of Singapore’s land has been set aside for parks and nature reserves. Because of its tropical climate, the island is incredibly fertile. They say, if you put a stick into the soil, it will flower overnight! Singapore is full of plants such as tall trees, ferns, palms, orchids, jasmine and bonsais. In fact, this city is so full of greenery that you feel yourself in the middle of lush gardens. In addition to its rich vegetation, Singapore is surrounded by the sea with marvellous beaches, picnic zones and camps Singapore is famous for its architecture Singapore has remarkable modern architecture, towering skyscrapers, colourful recovered antique houses, Christian churches, Chinese and Indian temples, Muslim mosques and futuristic shopping centres. Singapore is attracting the world’s most adventurous architectural minds. The architectural miracle of Marina Bay Sands floats over the city like a fantastic ship. Singapore proves that with unity, diversity and daring, even the smallest of cities can grow into a giant! Population of Singapore Incredibly varied architecture points to a multicultural population. In Singapore live about 5.5 million people. The main part of the population of Singapore is Chinese, Indians, Malays. There are also many Europeans and other nations. In addition, the city is constantly full of international travellers, businessmen, shopaholics. Food in Singapore All Singaporeans love to eat, so the city is full of inexpensive little stalls selling all sorts of products, including Indian, Chinese, Malay, Indonesian and Western. Of course, there are also various upper-class restaurants, with cuisine from almost every country in the world. The food is simple, convenient, fast and varied. Arts and culture Singapore, as all Great Cities, has museums, art galleries, and theatres. Museums include the grand Asian Civilization Museum, the National Museum, The National Art Gallery, The Philatelic Museum and others. Singapore is super safe, well-organized, clean, and highly developed country. My native town The modern city of Shymkent has a population of more than million people and is one of the top three cities in Kazakhstan, simultaneously being the industrial, trading and cultural center of the South Kazakhstan Region (SKR). Shymkent with its rich history and culture emerged on the crossing of caravan roads as one of the stops along the Great Silk Road and is along the row of the most ancient cities of Central Asia.
