Summary.The article describes the professional training of future psychologists-specialists at the
University, discusses the main directions of the organization of the system of psychological support for
the formation of professional orientation of future psychologists-specialists at the University in the mod-
ern education system. Professional training of students is largely determined by their ideas about the
directions of self-realization in the profession, about employment opportunities in this specialty. Without
considering this factor, all questions about professional orientation and promoting its formation lose
their value.
