Purpose and objectives of the study.Identification and discussion of the main problems of knowledge of grammatical features of the English language.
The purpose of the thesis requires solving several tasks:
On the basis of inter –branch knowledge of English grammar, identify and study the types of concepts of one of its main concepts-morpheme, word, sentence;
Consideration of morphological features of English verb grammar, identification of differences;
Focus on the grammatical features of English verbs;
Comparison of research works in the field of origin, formation of grammar, consideration of classifications of elements of Greek and Latin languages, identification and description of areas of application;
Research methods. In the course of the study, linguistic research, component analysis, statistical analysis and comparative research methods were used.
Scientific novelty of the study.
The branches of English grammar were considered on the basis of intermediate knowledge and identified the types of concepts of one of its main concepts – morpheme, word, sentence;
Morphological features of English verb grammar are considered and features of use are described;
• Research works on the origin and formation of the field of grammar were considered, classifications of elements of Greek and Latin languages were developed.
Theoretical significance of the research work. The materials and generalizations of the thesis can be used in the lessons of practical, theoretical grammar of the English language, history of the English language.
Practical significance of the research work.
The materials and generalizations of the thesis can be used in lectures and practical classes on English grammar, comparative linguistics, General Linguistics, comparative grammar, conducted at the philological faculties of higher educational institutions. It can also serve as an auxiliary tool in conducting special courses and seminars, writing textbooks, and creating dictionaries. This situation determines that the future (perspective) of the study is broad and deep.
