Summary. The article examines students ‘ knowledge of ways to work with a phraseological dictionary,
promotes a conscious understanding of the types of phraseology and its composition, instilling
phraseological units in the vocabulary for daily communication, and increases educational motivation for
the subject. The student’s awareness of phraseological units as the most rational means of expressing
thoughts contributes to understanding it in combination with artistic speech, with language culture,
with speech ethics, and ultimately instills a mental attitude to their own and other speech language
and improving communication skills. Within this topic, a full review of the research was conducted. The
study also made its own conclusions. In General, the lack of vocabulary is difficult for students to convey
their thoughts as oral, written, accurate, systematic, and compact, so it is very important to organize
vocabulary work correctly in Kazakh language lessons.
