Abstract. Patriotic education plays a key role not only in the education system, but also
of the whole society. Today, there is an acute issue of increasing patriotism among young
people, as more and more young people seek education abroad with further employment,
because of this desire, there is a “brain drain” and the deterioration of the demographic, labor
situation in the country. To exclude further negative consequences, it is necessary to make
changes in the education system, aimed at the development of patriotic education.
