Abstract. In this work we consider the term "patriotism" and its perception by modern
teenagers. Statistical data of perception of patriotism by present youth are presented. The
influence of Internet resources and social networks on the consciousness of young people is
described and analyzed. The influence of propaganda in social networks is considered. The ways
of solution to overcome the distortion of perception of Patriotic moods in modern youth are
proposed.
