the patriotic education of young people. The main course of this article is an assessment of the
activities of military-patriotic clubs, the disclosure of the possibilities and mechanisms of their
use as a resource of patriotic education. At the same time, the organization of work of military-

patriotic clubs is described, the contingent of citizens participating in this activity is analyzed,
and the results of educational work are given.
