“Computer modeling of the language environment in distance learning
of RLF (A2-B1 levels)”
Thesis is devoted to studying methodological and technological
developments in the field of distance learning of Russian as a foreign language
(RLF) and using the modern software engines for creating three-dimensional
educational social networks, defined as “virtual worlds” or three-dimensional (3D)
interactive environments. The research is focused on the problem of development
of virtual Russian language environment simulator and its using in RLF distance
learning as a module of interactive language practice. The technique and
technology of creating the newest teaching tools based on the virtual worlds engine
is described in connection with the gamification and communicative-oriented
learning process.
