discusses Abai's views on some of the proverbs and sayings that reveal their meaning, as well as
the proverbs that are still used today. A number of Abai's proverbs are preserved in the manuscript
heritage collected in the fund of the State Historical, Cultural and Literary Memorial Museum-
Reserve "Zhidebay-Borili Abay" in Semipalatinsk.
In these letters, written in Arabic, he praised
the governor who ruled the country and settled disputes fairly. As a result of the study, it was
established that these are the proverbs of Abai. The article clearly compares the dance to the hero
and clearly shows the place and status of the dance for the country. We also looked at a proverb
that compares the psychology of slavery to nobility, height, and depth of consciousness. Abai
managed to convey human psychology at all levels of society. These proverbs are cited as
examples in a research article.
Of course, not all proverbs are as pure as gold. Some proverbs appeared in a certain period,
within the framework of a certain ideology, in the interests of a certain group. Therefore, all this
is considered the property of the people, but many of them fell out of use. Naturally, Abai
Kunanbayev is critical of the ancient Kazakh heritage and, in turn, reveals the shortcomings of this
heritage. Criticism of the use of some outdated ideas about the national heritage, including
proverbs, by groups with certain views in their own interests, is mainly reflected in the poet's work.
The article examines the poet's work and conducts research on the basis of the above three points.
