MY FLAT

We’ve recently received a very comfortable flat in a new house in the centre of Aktobe . It is a fine flat indeed. We have three rooms. Our flat is on the third floor. Besides the rooms there is a kitchen, a bathroom and a closet in our flat. Of course we have running water, gas, electric light and central heating.

The sitting room has two big windows. There is a big round table in the middle of the room with six chairs round it. There is a cupboard and a sofa at the wall. There are two big armchairs in the corners, a TV set, a piano.
The second room is smaller. It’s my parents’ room. There are two beds, a mirror in the left hand corner and small dressing table to the right of the window, a wardrobe.
The third room is mine. I designed it to my taste. There is little furniture here: just a sofa where I sleep, two chairs, my working table, a big musical unit and some bookshelves on the wall.
Our kitchen is big and we have meals there.
We keep our washing machine in the bathroom.
