Prerekvizita of a course: Informatics.

Course post-requisites: information processing Methods, Software tools of information systems.

Purpose: to study operating systems and the principles of their construction and functioning; the study of office packages, basic features and characteristics, applications.

Contents: : software, operating system; evolution of operating systems; operating systems, functions of operating system; network operating systems; operating system architecture; processes and threads; memory management; management of distributed resources; the remote procedure call (RPC); processes and threads in distributed systems;

Competences: Knowledge of basic concepts of information systems.
