Explanatory note

All academic disciplines of the specialties of undergraduate cycles OOD, BD and PD are combined into modules, within which they are divided into compulsory and elective (optional) disciplines. The list of disciplines required for studying is given in the standard curriculum of the specialty (TUP) and is not given in the Catalog. The list of elective disciplines for each specialty course is presented in the catalog of elective disciplines (QED), which is a systematic annotated list of disciplines for the choice of specialty. CED gives (provides) students the opportunity to choose elective academic disciplines in accordance with the chosen learning path.

On the basis of TUP and QED, the working curriculum (RUE) of the student for the academic year is formed. Assistance to bachelors in the preparation of the RUE is provided by an adviser appointed by the graduating department. RUE determines the individual educational trajectory of each student within the specialty. The RUE includes compulsory component disciplines and types of educational activities (practice, research work, state (comprehensive) exam, writing and defense of the thesis (project) from the PMU and component discipline of choice from QED.

To help bachelors in QED, elective courses are structured and recommended both for studying by all trajectories of study and for selected educational trajectories focused on a specific field of activity taking into account the needs of the labor market and employers. The list of disciplines that guarantees students the purposeful development of the planned educational program within the framework of the QED may vary annually depending on the proposals of the main employers or members of the Industral and Advisory Council.

When choosing elective disciplines, consider the following:

1 In one semester, a full-time student must master 18-21 credits (compulsory and elective). The total number of credits for the entire period of study shall not exceed 146 credits.

2 Elective disciplines are combined into modules.

3 The study of elective discipline, which is part of another learning trajectory, is possible on a fee basis.
