In this article the author examines the theoretical investigations of studying the conceptual foundations of quality
management in higher education. . The author examined the significance of these concepts determines the proper
understanding of the concept of structure, purpose, common rules on the categorical apparatus; research processes; laws
and principles of pedagogical activity; which is reflected in the theoretical positions and practices of teachers; in
structural and functional, organizational quality management models of teacher education in pedagogical terms of the
conceptual content of education.
After analyzing the theoretical sources, the author considers the quality management concept of teacher education in
higher education, from the perspective of the system, competence approach, its purpose, content, patterns and methods,
conditions for its implementation as a dynamic system of theoretical-methodological and methodical and technological
knowledge.
