The article is devoted to the problem of formation of a multicultural personality. On the basis of the analysis of the
scientific literature reveals the value of the nature and content of multicultural education. The world pedagogy category
multicultural education was introduced with 1960, while in Russia the problem begins to be studied since the 1990s.
On the basis of scientific and educational literature defined the content of the concept of “multicultural personality”
developed multicultural structure of personality.
Multicultural personality is understood by the authors as a complex integrative structure, showing a complete
training to master a new way of life based on universal and national values, while preserving the principles and
properties of the implementation of knowledge, relationships in a multicultural environment.
The study gives an attempt to disclose the structure of multicultural personality in a multicultural environment.
