Charities the world was not aware of

After he died, it has emerged that behind the headlines and huge on-stage persona, George Michael was a 4._______________ man who kept quiet about his considerable charitable donations.

The star donated royalties from some of his biggest selling singles and is said to have given a game show contestant thousands of pounds to fund her IVF (medical) 5.__________. 

He has helped countless children as a result of his donations to Childline charity and also supported other 6._________. 

Michael, who later in his life said he was gay and spoke about losing his 7.___________ Anselmo Feleppa to HIV, personally supported the Terrence Higgins Trust (cancer treatment) for many years. He had also given the royalties from his 1996 number one single Jesus To A Child to the Childline charity but he was determined not to make his generosity 8._______________ so no-one outside the charity knew how much he gave to the nation's most vulnerable children. Over the years he gave millions for the hundreds of thousands of children.

In 1997 Michael lost his mother Lesley to cancer - at the time he described her as a "woman of great compassion". Almost 10 years after her death he played a special free concert in north London for NHS (National Health Service) nurses as thanks for the 9._____________they gave her and over the years 10.____________ to support charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support.
