stitium.  Progressive  dyspnea  and  a 

nonproductive cough are symptoms 

characterizing  this  disease.  Clubbing 

of  the  fingers  is  a  common  finding. 

Diffusion  of  oxygen  and  carbon 

dioxide is abnormal. Diagnosis is made 

by lung biopsy. The condition is treated 

by corticosteroids
