Annotation: The article analyzes in a comparative form the poetic works of two great poets – Azerbaijanian
Vaqif and Karakalpakian Azhiniyaz, who took important places in the national literature. The focus is on the main
points characterizing the work of the two poets, as well as introducing distinctive and similar features in the
methodology of their work. At the same time, the article shows the influence of the work of two poets on
representatives of native literature.
