WE LOVE ENGLISH Objectives:
to enhance students’ speaking and listening skills;
to motivate students to learn English. Ведучий 1: Good morning, dear friends! Today we have a holiday of the English language. You will see and listen to English songs and poems, dances and fairy-tales. I think, it must be interesting. Ведучий 2: Our school is big and cool! We study Maths, English and Art, The teachers are good, The pupils are smart! Ведучий 3: Maths and English, Crafts and Art- All school subjects make you smart. Growing up with every day- Then your life will be OK! Ведучий 1: Useful lessons, noisy breaks, Happy faces, tasty cakes. All school textbooks teach you new, Teachers spend much time with you. Ведучий 2: The school bell rings, we run to class, The teacher tells new things to us! Ведучий 3: We get new knowledge every day. “Our school, we thank you,” pupils say. Ведучий 1: And now we are in the festival. Ведучий 2: “Hello, English” has door that opened wide, And friendly teachers wait inside. Ведучий 3: Hurry, hurry, let`s go in, For soon our little performance will begin.

(After some time the king took another wife. She was very wicked.) Scene 2 Queen 2: I am very lovely

Mirror(2) on the wall, who is the fairest of us all. Mirror: Yes, You are very lovely
But the most beautiful
Is Snow White. Queen: Snow White!
She will always be in my way!
Huntsman! Hunter: Yes, Your Majesty. Queen 2: Take Snow White into the forest

Scene 3 (Hunter and Snow White goes into the wood. Snow White sings a song “Lavender’s blue”). Snow White: Dear Huntsman, you know:

I’ll just take a little from each plate.
Oh, I’m so tired. I’ll just lie down on this little bed. Scene 4 (The dwarfs are returning from work. They are singing a song.) 1Dopey: Who has been sitting on my chair? 2Happy: Who has been eating my bread? 3Sneezy: Who has been eating from my plate? 4Grumpy: Who has been drinking from my glass? 5Bashful: Who has been cutting with my knife? 1Dopey: Who has been lying in my bed? 2Happy: Someone is in my bed! Dwarfs together: Oh, how beautiful she is! Snow White: Oh, dwarfs! I’m so glad to see you. 3Sneezy: Who are you? Snow White: My name is Snow White. 4Grumpy: What are you doing here? Snow White: My stepmother wanted to kill me and I ran here. Dwarfs: Oh, poor child. 5Bashful: Please, stay with us. 1Dopey: Will you be our housekeeper? 3Sneezy: You will be alone all day long. 4Grumpy: We work in the mountains, dig for gold. Snow White: I can do many things.
I can cook, make bread, clean the house and make dresses. 5Bashful: You are a very good girl.
We will keep you here. 4Grumpy: Brothers, look at the clock. It’s time to go to work. Dwarfs: Heigh-ho…It’s off to work we go! Snow White: Good-bye. Scene 5 Queen 2: I am very lovely

Snow White: Here you are! Queen: Thank you, my child. Snow White: You are welcome! Queen: And for your kindness
Snow White: Oh, It’s great. I’ll eat it with pleasure. Queen: Good-bye, my child! Snow White: See you later! Queen: Ha-ha-ha!
Scene 7 (Dwarfs are singing a song.) Dwarfs: Heigh-ho! It’s home from work we go. 2Happy: Snow White, what is the matter? 1Dopey: She is dead. 3Sneezy: Look at this apple.
4Grumpy: I think it’s her stepmother.
She is a wicked woman. 5Bashful: What shall we do? 9
(Prince appears and sings a song). Prince: Oh, Dwarfs! Pleased to meet you! 4Grumpy: Welcome prince! Pleased to meet you! Prince: Why are you so sad? 1Dopey: Our dear Snow White is dead. Prince: She is so beautiful! I’d like to give her a kiss! 3Sneezy: Yes, Prince, do it please. Snow White: Oh, my Prince! How sweet your kiss is! 2Happy: Hurray! Snow White is alive again. Prince: Dear Snow White, please be my princess. Snow White: I’m so happy! All right! My answer is “Yes”. Dwarfs: Be always happy, dear Princess.
