Seasons There are 365 days in a year. Each year has 12 months. There are four seasons in a year: winter, spring, summer and autumn. Winter is the first season of the year. December, January and February are the winter months. In winter the days are short and the nights are long. On the 22th of December we have the shortest, day and the longest night of the year. It is often very, cold in winter. It often snows and there is much snow on the ground. When the weather is not cold, it is pleasant to ski, skate and play snowballs. The spring months are March, April and May. In spring the days are longer and the nights are shorter than in winter. The weather becomes warmer. The grass and trees are green. There are many flowers everywhere. In spring the students have much work bacause they take their examinations. June, July and August are the summer months. In summer the nights are the shortest and the days are the longest. The weather is fine. The sky is always blue. It is often very hot. It is pleasant to swim, lie in the sun, play volley-ball, tennis, basket-ball, badminton. There are all kinds of fruit in summer. Pupils and students have their vacation. Summer is the best season of the year. Autumn is the last season of the year. The autumn months are September, October and Nowember. The days become shorter and the nights are longer than in summer. The weather becomes colder. It often rains. The leaves on the trees are yellow, brown and red. Schoolchildren and students begin their studies. Are there any mistakes in this sentence?
