1. JOINT COMMUNIQUES
Communique is a specific form of a diplomatic document. This is a French term which is used to
indicate an official announcement by two or more sides.

JOINT COMMUNIQUE
The Republic of Venezuela and the Kingdom of Nepal, desirous of strengthening the ties of
friendship and with the purpose of bringing together effectively their respective peoples, have
agreed to establish diplomatic relations as of this date.
The Governments of both countries are convinced that the establishment of diplomatic relations
will further enchance co-operation between the two countries based on the purposes and principles
of the Charter of the United Nations.
