The Government of Malaysia and the Government of Colombia, desirous of promoting the
spirit of mutual understanding and to strengthen the existing bonds of friendship between the
peoples of the two countries, have decided to establish diplomatic relations at Ambassadorial

level as of this date. Both Governments have agreed at a time convenient to both countries to
appoint non-resident Ambassadors as their respective representatives.
