Shift operating of the bulldozer is calculated per the formula

where Т – bulldozer working hour in a shift,8h;
𝑞 – the soil volume moved with a dump, m3. (annex. No. 1 of tab. 7).;
𝛼 – factor, including the loss of soil in the process of haulage, 𝛼 = 1 + 0,005 ∙ 𝑙𝑟;
𝐶𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒– factor of the equipment usage in time (during haulage of loosened rock material 0,75; in other cases – 0,8);
Т𝑙 – time for a set of soil category, min (annex. No. 1 of tab. 7);
Т𝑠 – time spent on switching speeds, min. (annex. No. 1 of tab. 7);
𝑙𝑟, 𝑙𝑛 – estimated haulage distance with the load and empty, 𝑙𝑟 = 𝑙𝑛, is determined by each student individually;
𝑉𝑟,𝑉𝑛 –bulldozer speed during soil transportation (charged) and forward drive (empty), m / min, (annex. No. 1 of tab. 7).
