Theme: № 2 Budget of a young family (3 hours)
The aim:Introductionofnew theme: to study a new vocabulary, to develop the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
Grammatical phenomena: The Noun. The singular and plural forms of the noun. Countable and uncountable nouns.
The main questions:

  1. vocabulary

  2. grammar exercises

  3. working with questions and text

Task : vocabulary, exercises
Methodical recommendations to performance of a task: Use dictionary for translation of unknown words, doing grammar exercises pay attention to the tables, learn new words by heart.
Reporting form: oral, written
Deadline: The 2nd week of the study.

Exercise 1.Vocabulary Notes

1. relate – v. иметь связь, родственные отношения be related to (with) – состоять в родстве, e.g. We are closely related
relative – n. родственник
close (near) relative – близкий родственник
distant (remote) relative – далекий родственник, e.g. She is a distant relative on my husband's side.
relative – a. сравнительный, относительный
relation – n. связь, отношение; родственник, e.g. It bears no relation to the event
in relation to – относительно
relationship – n. родство
2. сare – n.  a) забота; b) внимательность, осторожность;  с) уход, наблюдение (за больным), e.g. Take care of veterans. Take care that you don't get knocked down when you cross the street. You'll get the best of care in this hospital.
care – v. (for, of, about) a) заботиться о ком-то, ухаживать; b) тревожиться, беспокоиться; с) интересоваться, любить, e.g. The children are well cared for. He failed at the examination, but I don't think he cares very much. He cares for music but doesn't care for gardening.
I don't care a pin about it – мне все равно, мне наплевать...
careful – a. заботливый, внимательный, осторожный, старательный
carefully – adv. осторожно, тщательно
carefulness – n. заботливость, точность, аккуратность
careless – a. небрежный, невнимательный, неаккуратный
carelessly – adv. беспечно, небрежно
carelessness – n. небрежность, невнимательность, беспечность
3. nickname. A nickname is a name that people often call you instead of your legal name. Often nicknames are short names. Many children's nicknames end in "y", e.g. Kathy.
