The functions of the infinitive in the sentence Форма проведения: individual, group work Методические рекомендации: pay attention to the use of the proper functions of the infinitive Литература: [3], 322-327, [2], стр.4-6 Tasks : 1. Замените выделенные части предложений инфинитивным оборотами: 1.I am glad that I see all my friends here. 2. I was afraid of going past that place alone. 3.My sister will be thrilled when she is wearing a dress as lovely as that. 4.We must wait till we hear the examination results. 5.She is happy that she has found such a nice place to live in. 2. Раскройте скобки,употребляя нужную форму инфинитива: 1.They are supposed (to work) at thye problem for the last two months. 2.The only sound( to hear) was the snoring of grandfather in the bedrooms. 3.Her ring was believed (to lose) until she happened (to find) it during the general cleaning. 4.They seemed (to wait) for ages. 5.I hate (to bother) you,but the students are still waiting(to give)books for their work. Assessment criteria: 1. Employ the rule for using the functions of the Infinitive. 2. Use the proper forms of the infinitive. 3. Demonstrate the ability to use the proper forms of the infinitive. Я хочу,чтобы ты мне помог. 2. Отец хотел,чтобы я прочитал эту книгу. 3. Мне бы хотелось,чтобы они приехали ко мне. 4. Она хотела,чтобы его пригласили на вечеринку. 5. Я терпеть не могу,когда ты опаздываешь. 2. Переведите на английский язык,употребляя Complex Object с инфинитивом: 1. Я почувствовал,как изменилось его настроение. 2. Мы не видели,как они приблизились к нам. 3. Он не заметил,как его голос задрожал. 4. Она почувствовала,как мороз коснулся ее лица. 5. Ты видел как корабль вышел из порта? Assessment criteria: 1.
