THE USAGE OF NUMERAL-BASED WORDS WITHIN
THE CONTEXT

In this paper, the issues of contextual usage of numeral-based words, which made through
methods of word formation, were considered. The fact that the contextual usage of them might
be various, due to their meanings, was comprehensively studied as well. It was concluded that
the potential of usage of numeral-based words is mainly recognized according to its contextual
environment. Moreover, it was detected that the numeral-based words can be utilized in variable,
diff erentiable meanings within the context as well as the other words, and mostly they are delivered
through methods of metonymy and metaphors. Thus, in the paper features of usage of numeral-
based words were analyzed through semantic methods, such as synthetic, morphological, and
lexical methods. Observations were proved with signifi cant thoughts and examples.
