Abstract
. The given article considers the method of using case study technology in 
foreign language education in the process of teaching students linguistic­cultural aspects 
of fixed expressions in a foreign language. In addition, it provides information about the 
importance of linguistic­cultural aspects of fixed expressions in developing intercultural 
communicative competence. Furthermore, the article shows the methods of analyzing case 
materials directed to the improvement of polemic­discussing and communicativeskills.
