Abstract. The main purpose of the article is to examine the concept of patriotism, as well
as educate it in the younger generation, as a lot of changes are currently taking place, some of
which negatively affect the position and opinion of citizens. Therefore, it is important that every
citizen understands and accepts the changes taking place, why this is happening and could
differentiate what is happening. And if it is difficult for adults to do it, then it is also not easy for
adolescents, even though they can be inspired. That is why it is important in the process of the
formation of the personality of a teenager to convey to him the concept and meaning of
patriotism.
