The appearance and atmosphere of Nur-Sultan speaks about Kazakhstan's aspiration to the future. The young capital of Kazakhstan is very modern and bright. Extraordinary architectural projects using advanced technologies and design, ultra-modern hotels, business centers, multi-storey new buildings reflect the bold ambitions and gushing energy of the city.
The center is decorated with such sights of Nur-Sultan as Bayterek and the Palace of Peace and Accord, created according to the designs of the famous modern architect Norman Foster. Excursions are held in the Presidential Palace "Ak Orda", in the ethno-memorial complex "Atameken" you can see the whole of Kazakhstan in "miniature", with an area of about 2 hectares. An interesting place for recreation and entertainment is the Duman entertainment complex. Here, in addition to shops, cinemas, attractions and cafes, there is a museum of miniatures and an oceanarium, where more than 2 thousand marine life live, brought from different parts of the planet. Sports fans are invited to the ultramodern stadium "Astana Arena", designed for 30 thousand spectators.
Be sure to visit the Circus in Nursultan. Even if you are not a fan of circus art, the building itself is undoubtedly worth visiting at least once. After all, it is a giant UFO dish and glows at night just like this extraterrestrial object. Inside, the circus is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, the arena is equipped with modern mechanisms for performing various numbers, an ice show, an arena, flights, etc.
It's nice and easy to walk in the center of Nursultan. The city is decorated with decorative sculptures, original fountains and installations in the spirit of modernity, which gives the capital of Kazakhstan a special charm and individuality.
In Nursultan, as it should be in a modern capital city, there is a large selection of restaurants and cafes, there are parks, museums, theaters and cinemas that will be interesting for tourists to visit.

Dialogue
- Hello. Could you tell us a little about Nur-Sultan? We have just visited it recently and would like to know something about the sights
- Hello, of course I'll tell you. Nur-Sultan is the capital of Kazakhstan, which was Astana a week ago.It is a clean and modern city: many buildings and districts have been built in the last twenty years.
- Is it possible to have fun with friends somewhere there?
- Probably not. There are no trendy cafes and cozy tourist streets, but there are grandiose buildings and wide avenues. Nur-Sultan should appeal to those who love modern architecture.
Therefore, you can walk there with friendsYou will have time to see the main sights in a day — I have made a route for 14 km. It starts at the Hazret Sultan Mosque and ends at the Museum of the Future in the former Expo pavilions. Along the way, see the Palace of Peace and Harmony, the Nazarbayev Library, the Bayterek Tower and the Khan Shatyr shopping center.
- And how can I get there?
-Buses No. 10, 12 and 100 run to the city from the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport. Detailed routes are available on the airport's website. The fare costs 180 KZT (30 rubles) if you pay in cash, and 90 KZT (15 rubles) when paying with a transport card.
- Wow, how cool! Thank you very much, we will definitely go there!
